All activities are free and take place on the Refuge unless otherwise noted. Some activities require registration due to limited space.

Friday, May 18:
• Walking trails are open dawn til dusk • Wildlife Center and Nature’s Overlook open 10am-7:30pm
5:30-6:00pm Musical Performance by Faith and Glory
5:30-6:45pm Keynote Speaker: Jeff Douglas – “Connecting Community to Nature” (registration recommended)
7:30-9:00pm Twilight Walk on the Refuge: Guest Presenter, Cris Hein – “Bats: Conserving Vital Species” (registration required)
 
Saturday, May 19:
• Drop-in Activities for Kids, Pond Study, Scavenger Hunt, 10am-3pm • Build a Bat House, Bee Board or Bird House, 10am-3pm • Walking trails are open dawn til dusk • Wildlife Center and Nature’s Overlook open 9am-6:30pm
5:45-10:30am Birds & Breakfast (catered breakfast and guided bird walk ($25, registration required)
6:30-10:30am Guided Bird Walk (registration required)
7:00-9:00am Early Morning Guided Songbird Walk (registration required)
8:00-12noon Songbird Banding on the Refuge Trails
9:00-12noon Canoe Launch at Tualatin Riverkeepers HQ (registration required)
10:00-10:45am Guest speaker: Cris Hein – “Bats: Conserving Vital Species”
10:30-11:30am Guided Nature Walk (registration recommended)
10:15-11:00am Storytelling with Oregon’s own Anne Rutherford
12noon -1:00pm Audubon Live Bird Show
1:00-2:00pm Discovery Stroll for Kids – Bugs & Slugs (registration recommended)
1:00-2:00pm Guided Nature Walk (registration recommended)
1:30-2:00pm Photo Contest Winners Announced and Prizes Awarded
2:00-3:00pm Guided Nature Walk (registration recommended)
2:00-3:00pm Musical Performance by Dave Orleans, the Earthsinger
2:00-4:00pm Behind the Scenes of Refuge Management Guided Walk (registration required)
                4:00-5:30pm Keynote Speaker: An Evening with John Muir – “Watch, Pray, and Fight” (registration recommended)
 
Sunday, May 20:

10:00am-12noon Keynote Speaker: Dan Gleason – “The Woodpecker’s Tongue” (registration recommended)
11:30am-12:30pm Musical Performance by Faith and Glory
10:30am – 11:30pm Guided Nature Walk
12noon-1:00pm Audubon Live Bird Show
1:00- 2:00pm Guided Nature Walk
1:00-3:00pm Keynote Speaker: Dan Gleason – “Feathers and Flora” (registration recommended)
2:00-3:00pm Musical Performance by Dave Orleans, the Earthsinger

Saturday only, free shuttle and parking at Pacific Financial Center, 12205 SW Tualatin Rd.
Just off 99W, corner of SW 124th and SW Tualatin Rd. Free Shuttle runs 5:30am-6:30pm
Friday and Sunday, parking onsite at Refuge.
